Let's Shell-ebrate Salcombe CrabFest
It's our first season in Salcombe and wow, what a place to be! We’ve fallen hook, line and sinker for this iconic location, with its winding streets brimming with independent brands, beautiful beaches and captivating coastline. And as the ‘new kids on the block’, we're so excited for a season packed full of local events, starting with the super Salcombe Crab Festival!
The Crab Fest on Sunday 1 May is a family friendly day out, dedicated to celebrating these cute lil’ crustaceans and all that seaside living brings, showcasing chef demonstrations, toe-tapping live music and a bustling street market with over 100 makers and producers. And what’s more, Crabfest helps to raise money for local charities - even more reason to shell-ebrate!
Our love for the crab runs deep! It's why Bert made the Cunning Crab collection! Did you know our local South Devon brown crab, aka the Cancer Pagurus, is by far the largest crab species in British waters, with some measuring a whopping 30cm across and weighing in at 9lbs! Or that they can live in waters down to around 100 metres deep. And who knew they can live for 30 to 40 years - pinch me!
And as you meander your way through this crab-tacular event, come say hey to us at our new Salcombe store on 81 Fore Street, as we shell-ebrate from Friday 29 April to Monday 2 May with these very special offers:
There's a clawsome 20% off the Cunning Crab Collection featuring art (yes, including Cunning Crab Wide, Cunning Crab Portrait, Cunning Crab Pattern), homeware and accessories. You can also shop online across the Bank Holiday weekend, just use the discount code Crab20 at the checkout.
Holy crab, there’ll be 20% off an exclusive range of unframed art prints - available at the Salcombe store only! An unmissable opportunity to browse and buy a selection of signed art prints by Graphic Artist Bert Fowler.
Not only that, but we’ll also be running a crab-ulous giveaway. Just pop into the Salcombe store to find out more and join in. We can’t wait to see you!
